Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office Kullu invited applications on the prescribed form from the eligible canidates for the post of Driver, Peon and Chowkidar in the office establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Kullu on Daily wage basis.

Essential Qualifications : DC Office Kullu Recruitment 2021
Driver :
- Candidates should be a matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/ Institution.
- Candidates shall be eligible for appointment to class-lll posts of Driver, if he/she passed Matriculation from any School/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachal.
- Candidates must possess valid Driving lecense for the plying of Heavy/ Light vehicles in Hilly terrain.
Peon :
- Candidates should be a matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/ Institution.
- Candidates shall be eligible for appointment to class-lV posts of Peon, if he/she passed Matriculation from any School/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachal.
Chowkidar :
- Candidates should be a Middle Pass from recognized Board of School Education/ Institution.
- Candidates shall be eligible for appointment to class-lV posts of Chowkidar, if he/she passed Middle / Matriculation from any School/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachal.
Desirable Qualification :
Candidate should have knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.

Age of candidates for above posts shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2021. The minimum age limit 18 and maximum 45 years. Relaxation of age is admissible as per Govt. instructions issued from time to time.
Application Fees :
Application fee shall be Rs. 200/- for General candidates and for other category of Rs. 150/- female candidates, Ex-Servicemen of H.P. Ex-SM who are relieved from defence Services after completion of normal tenure and Persons with Disability are exempted for fees.
Mode of Payment – The fee will be accepted only in the shape of Bank Draft / IPOs issued in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Kullu.

Mode of Selection :
Driver :
- Written objective type Screening Test = 85 Marks.
- Driving Skill Test Qualifying Nature.
- Evaluation as per parameter devised =15 Marks.
Duration of Examination = 2 hours.
Syllabus – Written Objective type Screening Test (MCQ) shall be based on understanding & Knowledge of Motor vehicle Act / Rules, Vehicle maintenance, road signs, other driving skill / knowledge and General Knowledge of HP.
Peon :
Selection for appointment to the post of the above all categories except UR PWD (Visually impaired) shall be made on the basis of merit prescribed educational qualification i.e. Matric Pass followed by evaluation as per perameters devised by the Govt of HP vide Department of Personnel Notification No. Per (AP.B) B(15)-5/2014 dated 17.04.2017
Chowkidar :
Selection for appointment to the post of the above all categories shall be made on the basis of merit prescribed educational qualification i.e. Middle Pass followed by evaluation as per perameters devised by the Govt of HP vide Department of Personnel Notification No. Per (AP.B) B(15)-5/2014 dated 17.04.2017

Other Terms & Conditions :
- Top candidates in merit in the ratio of 10 times of total posts in respect of any particular category will be called for evaluation of 15 marks.
- The candidates for the post of Driver will be admitted in the examination centre on the production of admit card. The eligible candidates will be issued admit card by posts.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Examination/ Screening Test/ Skill Test/ Evaluation schedule etc.
- Original certificates will have to be produced at the time of evaluation.
