Educational Qualification :

Assistant Professor, Law :

Essential Qualifications, Experience and other eligibility conditions shall be as per the norms prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2018 and as adopted by Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla. The service conditions and other allowances shall be applicable as per rules & regulations of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla.

Research Associate (Law) :

As per the UGC Regulations 2018, and HPNLU, Executive and Service Regulations 2020 for the post of Assistant Professor of Law.

System Analyst :

Master Degree with minimum 55% marks in Computer Applications/ Computer Science/Computer Engineer/Information Technology or equivalent.
Or
B.E. / B. Tech. with 55% marks in Electronics/Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronic Communication with 2 years’ experience in Computing in a reputed organization. Applicants having experience of establishing/supervising computer lab in an educational institution shall be preferred.

Computer Technician :

M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc. (I.T.)/ MIT having knowledge and experience of supervising Computer Lab, its establishment and technical know-how. Candidate with experience of Computer Lab in an educational institutional shall, however, be preferred.
OR
MCA from a recognized University with atleast 2 (two) Years’ experience as the Computer Lab Supervisor.

Computer Lab Attendant :

10+2 Pass from Recognized Board/School.
01 Year of Diploma in computer and software from a recognized Institution and preferably 2 year’s working experience in a reputed Institution

Age Limit : HP Law University Recruitment 2021

The minimum and maximum age limit of 18 to 45 years will be reckoned as on 10-08-2021. The upper limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, Persons with disabilities & Children/Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh. The upper age relaxation is also available to Ex-servicemen candidates of H.P. as per provisions of relevant rules/instructions of H.P. Government.

Application Fee :

Application fee for Teaching Post, System Analyst and Computer Technician shall be Rs. 2500/- and for Computer Lab Attendant Rs. 1000/-, payable by Demand Draft, in favour of Registrar, Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla.

For the Teaching Posts (Group-A), the qualifications/eligibility and other terms and conditions of the appointment and service shall be as prescribed by the UGC Regulations and Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla.
For other categories B & C posts, terms and conditions of eligibility, appointment and services shall be governed by the relevant rules of the University.

Only Bonafide Residents of the Himachal Pradesh shall be eligible candidates to apply for posts under group C. Provided that, a candidate shall be eligible for applying for the post of groups C if he/she passed, wherever applicable, Middle, Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within the Himachal Pradesh.
