HPRCA Hamirpur JOA (IT) Exam Pattern And Syllabus 2026 : The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur conducts the Junior Office Assistant (IT) examination to recruit skilled candidates for IT-related office work in various state departments. This exam is competitive, and understanding the exam pattern and syllabus thoroughly is key to success.
Mode of Selection:
Computer Based Test/written screening test of 120 marks of 1½ hours (one and a half hours) duration or as decided by the Aayog, followed by a Typing Test, which shall he mandatory and qualifying in nature.
Scope of Syllabus:
The objective type screening test will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark.
Subjects of 10+2 level prescribed as per essential qualification and as notified in the Advt. H. Syllabus relating to Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology (IT)/ Information Technology Enabled Sectors (ITES) Information Practices (IP) prescribed as essential qualification(s) as notified in the advertisement.
(a) General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs.
b) Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric Standard.
Skill test on computer with minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in iv. Hindi for those who qualify objective type of screening test /computer Based Test.
Note: Skill test will be of qualifying nature.
