Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful state. It has situated in the lap of north-western Himalaya having beautiful landscape, green forest, rivers, lakes and eternal snow. State has rich flora and fauna. Flora and fauna of Himachal Pradesh is very diverse and unique. There are 32 Wildlife Sanctuary and 5 National Parks in Himachal Pradesh.

Wildlife Sanctuaries :

Wildlife sanctuary is established under section 18-26 of wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 . General public legally restrained from destroying, exploiting or removing any wildlife from the sanctuary, or destroying or damaging the habitat of any wild animal, or depriving any wild animal of its habitat in the sanctuary.

Profit of Wildlife Sanctuaries :

Wildlife Sanctuaries, Conservation Reserves and National Parks provide a very good opportunity to the visitor to enjoy and experience the wilderness of the state.
