Jal Shakti Division Chauntra Para Cook And Para Helper Recruitment : applications are invited from desirous candidates on the prescribed Proforma for the filling up the posts of Para Cook and Para Helper for operation and upkeep of Rest Houses/Inspection Huts on Honorarium basis as per norms fixed in the Para Policy of Jal Shakti Vibhag. The applications shall reach in the office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Chauntra Distt. Mandi (HP) on or before 16.02.2026 up to 5.00 PM. The applications received after the due date or found incomplete will be rejected without assigning any reason. The department will not be responsible for delay in receipt of application due to any reason.

Minimum Qualifications :

Para Cook :.

The candidate should have passed matriculation examination from a School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. The condition of passing 10th from Himachali School shall not be applicable to Bonafide Himachali

The candidate must possess degree diploma in any trade from Government approved Hotel Management Institute/Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute or minimum 5 (Five) years experience in Cooking/catering from any Government or private institution

Para Helper :

The candidate should have passed matriculation examination from the Board University recognized by the H.P/Central Govemment. The condition of passing 10th from Himachali School shall not be applicable to Bonafide Himachali

Eligibility:-

  1. Citizen of India.
  2. Bonafide Himachali.
  3. Having Sound Mind.
  4. No family member of the candidate(s) should be any kind of Government/PSU/Board job.
  5. Have never involved in any act of criminal nature.
  6. Medically fit to perform duties.
  7. Permanent resident of the concerned Jal Shakti Circle.

Roles and responsibilities:-

Essential Documents :

The self-attested copies of the following documents shall be submitted with the applications

  1. Matriculation certificate showing details marks obtained (in case the candidate does not submit detailed mark sheet, his her application will be rejected).
  2. Degree Diploma in any trade from Government approved Hotel Management Institute/ Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute or minimum 5(Five) years experience in cooking/catering from any Government or private institution (applicable to Para Cook only)
  3. Bonafide Himachali certificate.
  4. Non Employment Certificate regarding no family member of the candidate is employed in any kind of Government/PSU/Board Job
  5. Valid Character Certificate issued by the 1st class Magistrate
  6. BPL Certificate issued not later than six months (if any)
  7. Experience Certificate in the related field (if any)
  8. SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate issued by competent authority as per HP Government time to time notification.
  9. If a candidate applies from the EWS category then it is necessary (Income certificate issued not older than 6 months)
