Vacancy Breakdown & Eligibility Criteria

The distribution of available posts along with mandatory educational qualifications and monthly honorarium is outlined below:

1. Para Pump Operator

• Total Vacancies: 03 Posts (UR = 2, SC = 1)
• Honorarium: ₹7,100/- per month
• Age Limit: 18 to 45 Years
• Educational Qualification:
• Minimum 10th (Matriculation) pass with an ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Pump Operator Cum Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Pump Operation-cum-Mechanic, or Pump Operation and Maintenance from a recognized ITI.
• OR 10th pass with a certificate in the above-mentioned trades under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government.

2. Para Fitter

• Total Vacancies: 02 Posts (UR = 2)
• Honorarium: ₹7,100/- per month
• Age Limit: 18 to 45 Years
• Educational Qualification:
• Minimum 10th (Matriculation) pass with an ITI certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade from a recognized ITI/Institute.
• OR 10th pass with a certificate in the above-mentioned trades under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government.

3. Multi-purpose Worker (MPW)

• Total Vacancies: 05 Posts (UR = 3, SC = 1, OBC = 1)
• Honorarium: ₹6,000/- per month
• Age Limit: 18 to 45 Years
• Educational Qualification:
• Minimum Middle pass (8th standard) or its equivalent from a school recognized by the State Government.

Note: The total number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the requirements of the Jal Shakti Vibhag.

Required Documents Checklist

Candidates must attach attested or self-attested copies of the following documents along with their prescribed application form:

• Age Proof Certificate
• Proof of BPL Family (if applicable, issued not later than six months)
• Educational and Technical Qualification Certificates
• Bonafide Himachali Certificate
• Relevant Work Experience Certificate (if any) in related fields from JSV, HPPWD, CPWD, or PSUs
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) or EWS Certificate (issued by competent authority, not older than 6 months)
  Important Condition for Multi-purpose Workers: Applicants for MPW must compulsorily attach a detailed mark sheet of the Middle standard (8th pass) certified by the School Principal. Shortlisting will strictly be based on the 8th standard marks regardless of any higher qualifications.

Selection Process & Application Guidelines

1. Document Evaluation & Shortlisting: Candidates will initially be shortlisted based on the scrutiny of submitted documents.
2. Skill / Physical Test: Shortlisted applicants will be called to appear for a skill/physical test.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates must be presented at the time of evaluation prior to the test.
4. Multiple Posts: If applying for more than one category, candidates must submit a separate application form for each post.
5. Submission Deadline: Applications must reach the Jal Shakti Division Bilaspur on or before 17-08-2026 by 5:00 PM. Late or incomplete forms will be rejected directly without prior notice.
