Syllabus for the Post of Veterinary Officer – HPPSC Shimla

There will bean objective type Computer Based Test / Screening Test of one paper consisting of 100 questions for two hours duration:

1. 80 questions of multiple choice of B.V.Sc. and A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry).
2. 10 questions consisting of General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh.
3. 10 questions consisting of National and International affairs.

Educational Qualification for Veterinary Officer – HPPSC Shimla

(i) Should possess a degree of B.V.Sc. and A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) from a recognized University as laid
down under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No. 52 of 1984).
(ii) Should be registered with the State Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No. 52 of 1984).
