Office of the director General of Police UT Chandigargh invited for direct recruitment to 45 Temporary posts (male and female) of Constable (Executive), under sports quota, of Group “C” in the pay scale of Central Pay Level-3 as per 7th CPC plus allowances as applicable from time to time, through URL mentioned on the website of Chandigarh Police from 27.10.2023 to 18.11.2023 till 11:59 PM.

Eligibility Standards :

Minimum Educational Qualification : Matric (10th or equivalent) from a recognized board of Secondary Education.

Age Limit :

General Category	18-30 years
OBC Category	18-33 years
SC Category	18-35 years

Age Relaxation :

(a) Relaxable upto miximu age of 45 years for Ex-Servicemen.

(b) Departmental conadidates of Chandigarh Police/Chandigarh Police Personnel upto 40 years.

(c) Relaxation for ward of serving/retired/deceased Police Personnel (except dismissed, compulsory retired or removed from

Driving Skills (For male candidates only):

Possession of valid Driving license to drive both two-wheelers and four-wheel vehicles, is mandatory for male candidates of all categories, as on the date of submission of online application.

Criteria for Selection:-

All candidates who fill online application form and provisionally found eligible under sports quota, will have to undergo through Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test (PEMT) as per following minimum eligibility standards :-

Height	165 cm (Male) 157 cm (Female) Relaxation:- Residents of notified Hill Area by 5 cm Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cm
Chest (Only for man)	84-88 cm (Unexpanded-Expanded) Relaxation:- Residents of notified Hill Area by 5 cm Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cm

Race :

For sportspersons upto 35 years of age	1600 meters in 390 seconds (Male) 800 meters in 270 seconds (female)
For sportspersons more than 35 years of age	1600 meters in 600 seconds (Male) 800 meters in 390 seconds (female)

Long Jump (Three Attempts)

For sportspersons upto 40 years of age	3.50 m (Male) 2.30 m (Female)
For sportspersons more than 40 years of age	Exempted

High Jump

For sportspersons upto 40 years of age	1.0 m (Male) 0.75 m (female)
For sportspersons more than 40 years of age	Exempted

All the candidates who qualify PE&MT will be awarded marks (maximum 50 marks) as per their achievement in sports as per the criteria mentioned in Standing Order no. 51/2023 (Para 10.5).

Final merit list for each category shall be based on the marks obtained out of maximum 50 marks as per the sports achievement of the candidates who qualify PE&MT.
