HP Industries Department Consultant (Chief Inspector of Boiler Recruitment 2022
Applications are invited from citizens of India, meeting the eligibility criteria for engagement of a Consultant to carry out the responsibilities of Chief Inspector of Boilers as per provisions of Boilers Act, 1923 and Indian Regulations, 1950
on consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50000/ (Fifty thousand only) per month as a stop gap arrangernent temporarily till the post of Chief Inspector of Boilers in the department of Industries is not operational.
The selected candidate will be responsible for implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923 and Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950 and will report to the Director of Industries, HP in relation to all matters pertaining to Boilers and other matters incidental thereto. The candidate should be between the age of 35 to 62 years. Education Qualification:-
A person to be hired as Chief Inspector of Boilers shall have the qualifications and ( experience, namely:
(a) Degree in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from the recognized university and
(b) Ten years experience in managerial capacity in the design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of Boilers or in the implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923 rules and regulations framed there under; or 04 years experience as Deputy Inspector: or minimum 08 years to all experience as Deputy Chief Inspector or Inspector or minimum 08 year experience as Inspector

Role & Responsibility :
The Chief Inspector of Boiler shall work under the administrative control of the Director of Industries and submit an annual report of the administration of the Act.
