Educational Qualifications :
10+2 with 50% marks or Senior Secondary with 50% marks from a recognized Board of School Education and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) course/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED) from an institute affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education HPBOSE).
OR
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (By whatever name known, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) /Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known).
OR
Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
AND
Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) duly conducted by H.P Board of School Education Dharamshala, Distt Kangra or any other Agency authorized by the Government.
Age Limit :
The minimum and maximum age limit is 18 and 45 years respectively and will be reckoned as on 01.01.2026. However, the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Persons with Disabilities categories who are domiciles of Himachal Pradesh and for the employees of Himachal Pradesh Government and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh shall be relaxable upto five (05) years as is permissible under the general or special order(s) of the Department of Personnel, Government of Himachal Pradesh.
Mode of Selection :
Computer Based Test/ written screening test of 120 marks of 1 ½ hours (one and a half hours) duration or as decided by the Aayog.
