Educational Qualifications :
Scientific Assistant (Chemistry & Toxicology) (As Job Trainee) :
(a) Essential qualification(s)
(i)Atleast 2nd Class Master’s degree in Forensic Science/Chemistry from a recognized University. OR
Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University with two years’ analytical experience from Government Lab/University. OR
Bachelor’s degree (Medical) with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized University with two years analytical experience from Government Lab./University.
(ii) Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Scientific Assistant (Document & Photography) (As Job Trainee) :
Essential qualification(s)
(i) 2nd class Master’s degree in Forensic Science/Physics/Chemistry/ from recognized university. OR
B.Sc. with one of the above subjects along with two years’ analytical experience from any Government Lab./University.
(ii) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry & Toxicology) As Job Trainee :
Essential qualification(s)
- B.Sc. Forensic Science/B.Sc.(Medical) with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized University.
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh

Laboratory Assistant (Document & Photography) As Job Trainee :

- B.Sc. Forensic Science/Chemistry/Physics as one of the subject from a recognized University.
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Litho Artist (As Trainee) :
a) Essential Qualification(s):
(i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education.
(ii) Diploma in Fine Arts with at least three years duration from an institution recognized by Himachal Pradesh Government.
(iii) Three years practical experience in commercial design and layout in Government/Semi Government or Private Press having offset unit and ISO certification.
Age Limit :
The minimum and maximum age limit is 18 and 45 years respecrively and will be reckoned as on 01-01-2025. The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe and other Backward Classes, Person with Disabilities categories who are domiciles of Himachal Pradesh and for the employees of Himachal Pradesh Government and Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh shall be relaxable upto Five years as is permissible under the general or special order of the Himachal Pradesh Government.
Mode of Selection :
Computer Based Test/ written screening test of 100 marks of Two hours duration ( as to be decided by the Aayog)
Objective type screening testconsisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions carrying (half) mark per question from:-
i ) Subject(s)/field(s) concerned prescribed as essential qualification(s) in the R & P Rules and as notified in the advertisement. –140 questions
ii) General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.-60 questions
Examination And Other Processing Fee :
The detail of fee all categories is as under :-
