Educational Qualifications :

Special Educator (Pre-Primary to Class -V) :

(1) 10+2 from recognized Board with at least 50% marks or Graduation in any stream from Recognized University.

(ii) D.Ed. in Special Education from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved Institute and possess a valid RCI & CRR number. OR

D.El.Ed. with a recognized qualification (Certificate/Diploma) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved Institution and possess a valid RCI & CRR Number.

(iii) Six-month training of teaching in cross disability area in inclusive education (**).

AND

(iv) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) duly conducted by H.P Board of School Education Dharamshala, District Kangra or any other Agency authorized by the Government.

(**) If the proposed programme (cross disability/top up courses being developed by RCI as on in service training is not available same may be dropped from the qualification with a condition that those recruited with D.Ed./B.Ed. Special Education have to compulsory undergo aforesaid training as soon as same is conducted.

Note: A candidate must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh: Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

(b) Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Special Educator (VI-XII) :

(1) Graduation in any stream from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.

(ii) Bachelor of Education Degree (Special Education) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved institution possess a valid RCI & CRR number. OR

B.Ed. with a recognized qualification (Certificate/Diploma) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved institution possess a valid RCI & CRR number.

(iii) Six-month training of teaching in cross disability area in inclusive education.

AND

(iv) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) duly conducted by H.P Board of School Education Dharamshala, District Kangra or any other Agency authorized by the Government.

Note: There is a relaxation of 5% in eligibility/ qualifying marks to SC/ST/OBC & PHH candidates.

(b) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Junior Office Assistant (Library) :

(a) Essential qualification(s):

Should be 10+2 with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized Board/University and one year Diploma in Library Science Library and information Science, OR

Bachelor in Library Science/ Library and information Science.

Provided that the candidate must have passed Matriculation or 10-2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided further that this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

(b) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Steno-Typist :

(a) Essential qualification(s):1) Should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board of School Education.ii) Must possess the following speed in short-hand and typing on computers in both languages ie. English and Hindi at the time of initial appointment:-

Speed in Shorthand: English : 60WPM, Hindi: 60WPMSpeed in

typing on Computer: English:25WPM, Hindi :25WPM

Mode of Selection :

Conputer Baset Test/ Written Screening Test of 120 marks 1.5 Hours duration (As decided by the Aayog)

Scope of Syllabus :

The objective type screening test will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions with each question carrying 01 mark.

i) Subject(s)/Field(s) upto the level of prescribed essential qualification(s) as notified in the advertisement. = 85 questions.

ii) (a) General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current affairs. (b) Everyday Science, Logival Reasoning , Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric Standard. =35 Questions.

Examination And Other Processing Fees :-

The detail of fee for all categories is as under :-
