Senior Technical Officer	B.E./B.Tech or MCA/ M.Sc. with 11 years relevant experience or M.Tech. with 6 years experience in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale) and consistently excellent academic record or Ph.D. in relevant field with 3 years experience in relevant field. Experience: 11 years industrial, research, ICT or other relevant experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Technical Officer Grade-I or equivalent with GP of Rs.6600/-
Technical Officer	Essential: (i) B. E. /B. Tech /M.Sc. (in CSE/ IT/ EE/ EEE/ Electronics & Communication)/ MCA with 5 years relevant experience or M.Tech. (in CSE/ IT/ EE/ EEE/ Electronics & Communication) with 1 year experience in relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10-point scale) and consistently excellent academic record OR (ii) Employees of the Institute with above mentioned qualification serving as Technical Superintendent for at least 5 years (Level 7) or higher in the Institute. Desirable: Linux/Unix operating system, software installation, System administration and configuring and trouble shoot of computer networks and Linux servers and workstations.

Age Limit :

Senior Technical Officer	50 years
Technical Officer	40 years

General Terms & Conditions :

All posts are tenable in IIT Mandi at Kamand, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
All positions are initially on probation as per Institute norms from the date of joining the post in the Institute, which can further be extended. The appointment will be regularized on successful completion of probation period.
Specified Educational qualifications or equivalent must have been obtained from recognized University/Institute.
