Educational Qualifications for Multipurpose Worker
The candidate should have a minimum qualification of middle pass and its equivalent from school duly recognized by the state Government.
The candidate who belongs to schedule casts, Schedule Tribe, other backword classes and Economically Weaker section category may relevant submit their (SC/ST/OBC/EWS). certificate . Knowledge of custom, manner & dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.
Age Limit :
The minimum age shall be 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 20.08.2025.
Documents to be attached with the Application Form:
The attested/self-attested copies of the following documents are required to be attached with the application form.
- Bonafide Himachali certificate.
- Middle (8th class) certificate showing detail of marks obtained.
- Proof of age.
- ST Certificate issued by competent authority as per HP Govt time to time notifications.
- Experience certificate as described below.
- Character Certificate issued by 1st Class Magistrate.
Terms and Conditions of Services :
- The working hours for the incumbent shall be 6 hour per day.
- The selected incumbent will be paid honorarium at the rate of Rs.5500/- per month for multipurpose workers.
- Unsatisfactory performance may result in termination of appointment by passing an order.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The roles and responsibilities of incumbent may be decided by the department of Jal Shakti in consonance with the trade certificate of the concerned incumbent and requirement of the Department.
Mode of Selection :
| The total selection process is of 10 marks with following distribution of marks:- Criteria | Multipurpose workers |
| Percentage of marks/grades obtained in Middle (8th class) | 06 Marks |
| Experience in related field of JSV/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs/ any authorized outsourcing agency providing services in Jal Shakti Vibhag duly signed not below the rank of Assistant Engineer. Half (1/2) Mark for every six months) | 02 Marks |

NOTE:-The detail of physical test shall be as under:-
A) Physical Test:-
(1) He/She should be capable to carry tools and pipes in hilly areas.
(2) He/She should have not any physical disabilities and color blindness
How To Apply :
The application should reach through by post in the office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Dharampur Distt. Solan on or before 20.08.2025 upto 05.00 P.M. The application received after the due date or found incomplete will be rejected straight away without assigning any reason. The department will not be responsible for delay whatever in receipt of application due to any reason.
