Central University of Himachal Pradesh invited applications from desirous and eligible candidates for contractual positions in NMHS-funded Small Grant (SG) project “Rejuvenation of Used Lithium-ion Batteries by gel addition process: A novel recycling plan” for a period of 2 years. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification :

Post Graduate degree in Basic Science, Environmental Science
OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the
following:
a. Scholars who were selected through National Eligibility Tests-
CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO,
MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc. With two years of research experience

B.Sc./ 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology

Salary :

SRF(Senior Research Fellow)	Rs. 35,000/- fixed P.M
Field Assistant	Rs. 17,000/- fixed P.M.

All interested and eligible candidates are required to send their duly filled scanned copies of application form in the prescribed format (Annexure I) along with self-attested scanned copies of original documents related to educational qualification, age, caste, experience etc. and are requested to submit it as a single merged PDF file through email to dpant2003@hpcu.ac.in.
The online application should reach on or before 01-07- 2024. All the applications will be scrutinized by the duly constituted screening committee and shortlisted candidates will be notified/informed through E-mail.
Selection will be done on the basis of interview by the duly constituted selection committee.
Central University of Himachal Pradesh reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post at any time without assigning any reason if the circumstances so warrant. The right is also reserved with the University either to fill or not to fill the post and its decision, in this regard shall be final.

Terms & Conditions: –

Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for Interview.
All original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of Interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Interview.
The decision of the selection committee will be final.
The eligibility of candidates will be determined as on the last date fixed for receipt of application forms.
The position is purely temporary and services will be governed by the University and MOEFCC guidelines.
Remuneration can be revised as per the revised notification of funding agency guidelines.
