DC Office Shimla Aspirational Block Fellow Recruitment 2023

DC Office Shimla invited application on prescribed format from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Aspirational Block Fellow for Chhohara and Kupvi Aspirational Block in district Shimla.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates for the role of Aspirational Block Fellow should meet the following criteria:

1. Post Graduate in any discipline from a reputed institution.
2. Proficient in data analysis and presentation.
3. Strong social media skills.
4. Project management expertise.
5. Experience working or interning with a development organization.
6. Self-driven with effective communication skills.
7. Knowledge of the local language of the respective Aspirational Block.
8. Preference given to candidates with higher education in development/rural studies.

Objectives:

Aspirational Block Fellows will focus on achieving the following objectives:

1. Collaborate with Block level Officials to design and implement strategies for accelerated development across ABP thematic areas.
2. Facilitate data-driven planning for optimal resource allocation and utilization.
3. Strengthen monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track progress effectively. 4. Encourage community engagement and participation in developmental initiatives.
4. Empower local stakeholders through knowledge, skills, and capacity building.

Recruitment Process:

Work Duration:

The tenure of the Aspirational Block Fellows will be six month to one year.

Compensation:

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 55,000 as a token of appreciation for their dedicated service and valuable contributions to the Aspirational Blocks Program.
