HP Excise & Taxation Department invited applications on prescribed proforma for filling up of posts of Drivers on daily basis in Excise & Taxation Department, H.P. Shimla.

Educational Qualification :

  1. Matric from a recognized Board of School Education. The applicant must either be a bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh or should have passed his matriculation examination from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.
  2. Must possess valid driving license for plying of heavy/light vehicles in hilly terrain.

Age Limit : The applicant should be aged between 18 to 45 years.

Application Fee : for General = Rs.360/- , Gen. IRDP/SC/ST/OBC/EWS = Rs. 120/-

Since certain marks at the time of evaluation are also to be awarded for the following as per R&P Rules, the applicants are required to submit the requisite latest certificates issued by the competent authority in support, so that they could be evaluated accordingly :-

  1. Belonging to notified Backward Area of Panchayat, as the case may be.
  2. Land less family/family having land less than 1 hectare to be certified by the concerned revenue authority.
  3. Non-Employment Certificate to the effect that none of the family members is in government/Semi-Government sevice.
  4. NSS(Atleast one year)/certificateholders in NCC/The Bharat Scout and Guide/Medal winner in National Level Sports competitions.
  5. BPL family having annual income (from all sources) below Rs. 40,000/- or as prescribed by the Govt. from time to time.
  6. Widow/divorced/destitute/single woman.
  7. Single daughter/Orphan
  8. Training of atleast 6 months duration related to the post applied for from a recognized University/Institution.
  9. Experience upto a maximum of 5 years in Govt./Semi-Govt.

How to Apply : Application must be submitted on the prescribed proforma accompanied with the self attested copies certificates/documents. Viz. Bonafide Himachali Certificate, Matriculation Certificate and Driving License, Category Certificate. The applications complete in all respect must reach in the officer of the Commissioner of State Taxes & Excise Himachal Pradesh Block No. 30, SDA Complex, Kasumpati, Shimla-09 by 13/11/2020. The applications should be accompanied with DD of the requisite amount on account of fees.
