Essential Qualification :

Candidates should be a Matric or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/Institution.
Candidates must possess valed driving licence for plying of heavy/light vehicles in hilly terrain.

Desirable Qualification :

Candidates should have knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.

Age Limit : Driver Post

Between 18 to 45 years (as on 01-01-2021), Relaxation of age is admissible as per Govt institution issued from time to time.

Mode of Selection :

Written objective type Screening Test = 85 Marks
Driver Skill Test : Qualifying Nature
Evaluation as per parameters devised by the Department of Personnel vide Notification No. Per(AP.B)B(15)-5/2015, Dated 17-04-2017 = 15 Marks

Syllabus for the Screening Test of Driver :

There will be 85 questions in all. Each question will carry one mark.

Objective type questions of syllabus related to the post of Driver = 50
Objective type questions related to English of Matric standard =10
Objective type questions of syllabus related to Hindi of Matric standard =10
Objective type questions of syllabus related to HP GK and Current affair =10

Total Marks =85

Duration of Examination =1.30 hours (90 minutes)

How to Apply :

The application on prescribed format along with the relevant supporting documents as prescribed by the Government vide Notification No. Per(AP.B)B(15)-5/2014, Dated 17-04-2017 should reach in the office of the Director-cum-Warden of Fisheries, Himachal Pradesh, Bilaspur-174001 on or before 31/12/2021 for non-schedule tribal area and from schedule tribal area on or before 10/01/2022. The applications received after the last date or found incomplete will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained
