Himachal Pradesh Prisons & Correctional Services Department invited online applications for recruitment to the posts of Warders (Male) and Warders (Female) (Class-III, Non-Gazetted) on contract basis. Only such candidates can apply who are registered with any one of the Employment Exchanges in Himachal Pradesh and are bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh.

The applications are acceptable only in online mode. The desirous candidate(s) may use the link on our website i.c. http://hpprisons.nic.in at the link Vacancy/ Recruitment on or before its last date i.e. 22.12.2023 till 11.59 P.M. The web link will be activated from 23.11.2023 onwards. The candidates will be required to create their user IDs and passwords in the profile of online recruitment software module. No change in application shall be allowed, once it is submitted. The candidate should apply according to the vacancy of his/her Home District/Category/Sub Category/Gender. If the post is not available the application form will be rejected. Incomplete/incorrect application shall also be rejected. Fee once submitted will not be refunded in any case.

The eligible candidates shall be called for Physical Efficiency Test, which will be of qualifying nature only as per the following details :

Event	Minimum Qualifying standard for Male candidates
1500 Meters Race	6 Minutes 30 seconds (No additional attempts is allowed)
High Jump	1.25 Meters (Maximum three attempts are allowed)
Broad Jump	4 Meters (Maximum three attempts are allowed)`

Event	Minimum qualifying standard for Female candidate
800 Meters Race	4 Minutes 15 seconds (No additional attempts is allowed)
High Jump	Minimum 01 Meter (Maximum three attempts are allowed)
Broad Jump	3 Meters (Maximum three attempts are allowed)

Application Fee :

A processing fee of 200/- (Two hundred) Only shall be charged from each candidate belonging to General Category and 50/- ( Fifty) Only from each candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC and IRDP/BPL/EWS.
