IIT Mandi JRF & Project Associate Recruitment 2021
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi invited Applications from Indian citizens for a walk-in interview for two posts of JRF/Project Associate – I in a District Disaster Management Authority Mandi funded project (IITM/DDMA-M/VD/325) at IIT Mandi.
Title of the Research Project: Development of low-cost landslide monitoring and warning system.
Project details: In this project, we intend to develop low-cost landslide monitoring and early warning system. We also intend to deploy the developed landslide monitoring system in the landslide-affected areas in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Minimum qualifications:
B.Tech/MTech/MS/MS (By Research) in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering and related areas with a minimum 60% marks. Experience in machine learning, Python and C/C++ programming, and the internet of things
(IoT) is a must for this position.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in machine learning, IoT applications, publications, PCB design, and good command over the English language.
Joining date: As soon as possible.
Position: Project Associate – I
Salary: Maximum up to INR 31,000
Duration: 1-year, and extendable to maximum 3 years based on performance
