There will be an objective type Screening Test of one paper consisting of 100 questions of 2 hours duration as below:-

  1. 80 Questions of multiple choice of Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication and Bachelor of Public Relations and Bachelor of Public Relations & Advertising.
  2. 10 Questions consisting of General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh.
  3. 10 Questions consisting of National and International affairs.

Educational Qualification for Assistant Public Relation Officer – HPPSC Shimla

  • Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication/Public Relations and Advertising from a recognized University. OR
  • Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication /Public Relation/ Public Relations & Advertising from a recognized University.
