The Written Objective type Screening test of two hours duration will consist of 170 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of 85 marks. Each question will be of ½ marks.

Objective type screening test consisting of 170 Multiple Choice Questions from :-
i) Subject(s)/field(s) concerned prescribed as essential qualification(s) in the R&P Rules and as notified in the advertisement. =120 questions

ii) 50 Questions from following Topic :

1.General Knowledge.

2.General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh.

3.Current Affairs.

4.Everyday Science.

5.Logic.

6.Social Science.

7.General English of Matric standard.

8.General Hindi of Matric standard.

Educational Qualification for the Post of Junior Engineer Mechanical -HPSSC Hamirpur

i) +2 or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
ii) Degree or Diploma in the trade of Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or an Institution duly recognized by the Government of India or the State Government.
iii) Minimum 2 years experience of working in the field of maintenance of plant and machinery in a process industry.
