The Written Objective type Screening test of two hours duration will consist of 170 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of 85 marks. Each question will be of ½ marks.

  • Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency test of qualifying nature for those who qualify the Screening Test

Educational Qualification for Fire Station Officer -HPSSC Hamirpur

i) B.E. (Fire) Degree from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
OR
Graduate of the Institution of Fire Engineers (India), New Delhi.
OR
Should have served as a Sub Fire Officer in a Fire Station run by the Government/Public Undertaking/Municipal Corporation/Municipal Committee for at least 3 years and also having qualified Station Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
ii) Minimum Physical Standard:
Height – 165 cms.
Chest – 80 cms. (with expansion upto 85 cms.)
Eyesight – 6/6 without glasses.
Weight – 52 kg.
iii) Physical efficiency:-
a. 100 Mtrs. Race in 15 seconds.
b. High jump 120 Cms.
c. Broad jump 3 Mtrs. 60 Cms.
d. 800 Mtrs. Race in 3 Minutes.
