ICAR- Indian Agriculture Research Institute , Shimla invited applications to attend an interview for the post of Field Assistant under project entitled ” Efficacy of new agrochemicals on apple (Malus X domestica)” purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with project at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Amartara Cottage, Shimla 171004

Essential qualifications:

1. 10+2 with science subjects/ +2 Agriculture
2. Experience: minimum 2 years experience in laboratory / field works handling equipments
3. Desirable: Work experience in pathogen isolation, fungicide applications etc.

How To Apply :

The eligible candidates (appearing in-person as well as online mode) are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma along with scanned copy of the original documents through email to watpade.santosh@icar.gov.in latest by April 30, 2021.
After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed for further details regarding date of interview by email/over phone/message/fax. Original documents of the candidates appearing interview in-person will be verified on the date of interview and for the candidates appearing online interview will be verified at a later stage.

Terms and condition for the post of Field Assistant

1. The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis till the termination of the
   project.
2. Maximum age for the post is 30 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC). Minimum age should be 21 years as on date of interview.
3. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this institute, as the post is co- terminus with the project and committee’s decision will be final.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in person.
5. Only the candidates meeting essential qualification would be interviewed.
6. Concealing of facts of canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
7. The selected candidate will be stationed at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Amartara Cottage,Shimla 171004, but have to attend field trials conducted at various locations in Himachal Pradesh and other places as and when required.
8. Candidate should be willing to complete the allotted work in time. Work may be allotted based on the project requirements rather than the expertise of the candidate.
9. All candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit along with the application upto April 30, 2021.
10. Candidate working as where must bring NOC from their present Employer.
11. Incomplete application will not be entertained
